Why millions of professing Christians will go to Hell.

Why would millions of professing Christians go to hell?

Because millions of professing Christians have never heard the true gospel

They think salvation is in a simple prayer asking Jesus into your heart and asking for forgiveness of your sin. (God also demands that you change and become a new creature. You must live a righteous and holy life .)

God has commanded us to be perfect even as He is perfect

In fact, the only way you can get to heaven is if your perfect

So how is anyone going to make it heaven?

God sent Jesus to take your place so that you could become the righteousness that is in Him

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Jesus took your place and God turned His back on Him

Psalm 22:1-2 “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.”

Then God killed Jesus with all the hatred and wrath that should have been poured out on you

Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.”

Once your born again you are perfect in Christ and will no longer live in sin, but in order for you to recognize that He lives inside you, you must walk in His footsteps. You will not be perfect in the body, only in spirit, but you will no longer live in the flesh

Romans 6:3-5 “Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.”

1 John 3:5-6 “And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.”

Romans 6:6-7 “Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.”

If the old man still lives than Christ is not in you

If this is true than hardly anyone is going to make it to heaven

Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it

Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seems right unto a man, but leads unto death.”

So there is a way that you think is going to get you to heaven, but it will end you up in hell

Many people are lost and yet think they are saved

Philippians 3:18-19 “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.”

These are people who say they are Christian. They go to church, they read the bible, they pray and try their best to be a good person, but they are missing one thing. They do not have Jesus

Even though they profess to know Jesus, they do not produce any evidence of being born again

What does that mean?

Jesus said in Matthew 10:33 “Whoever denies me before others, I also will deny them before my Father in heaven.”

People think, well if someone asked me if I believed in Jesus, I would say yes

That’s not what Jesus is talking about. Look at what the bible says in Titus

Titus 1:15-16 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Your works are fruits of either righeous works or unrighteous works and those who produce fruits of unrighteousness are not Christain

James 3:11-12 “Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.”

Jesus said in Matthew 7:18-19 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire

People say, “Well, I know in my heart that I am saved.” Proverbs 28:26 says, he that trusts in his own heart is a fool. Why? Because the heart is deceitful.

Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

But what about going to church and reading the bible? What about praying everynight and trying my best to be a good person?

Well, according to the bible there is no one good enough to go to heaven

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away

Job 15:14-16 “What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous? If God puts no trust in His saints, And the heavens are not pure in His sight, How much less man, who is abominable and filthy, Who drinks iniquity like water!”

Romans 3:10-12 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

Jesus said in John 3:6-7 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Oh I go baptized in my church and the pastor said I was born again

Your pastor says? What about God? does His opinion have any meaning to you? are you putting your trust in what your pastor tells you?

Psalms 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Let me tell you this, if what your pastor tells you is contradicing to the Word of God, then your pastors is wrong

Jesus said in John 1:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

You must be born again into the righteousness of Christ. Once you are born agian you will live like Christ. You will love righteousness and hate evil.

Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

New music, new movies, new cloths, new activities, new attitude, a whole new style of life that proves that you’ve been saved. All the unrighteousness in your life is replaced with righteousness. You no longer desire the sinful things of this world, but you will follow after Christ and love His commands.

This is why John the apostle said in 1 John 2:6 “He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

Paul said in Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me

How do you know if Christ is in you?

Paul said in 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.”

Look at the friut you produce. As Jesus said, a good tree cannot produce bad fruit. A person who goes out and gets drunk every weekend or even every other weekend, is not a Christian

1 John 1:6 “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.”

1 John 2:3-5 “Now by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”

If your not living like Christ, then you can have no assurance that He is in you

You must repent and believe the gospel and once you truly humble yourself to God, He will change you

It doesn’t matter how sinful you are or how many times you’ve rejected Jesus, He still loves you and wants to give you eternal life. Humble yourself and give your life to Christ and you will be saved. Turn away from all your sin and live for Jesus
The bible does not say to ask for forgiveness for your sin, it says to confess that your a sinner

1 John 1:9 “But if we confess our sins, He will forgive our sins because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrong we have done.”

The bible does not say to ask Jesus into your heart. You must lay down your life to follow Him

Luke 9:23 “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

Why is this so important? Because this life is your only chance.

Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.”

After you die it’s over. What you did with your life will determine where you will spend eternity. You must put more thought into what you believe because if your wrong it will cost you your chance to go to heaven

Jesus said few will enter heaven

I love you and just want to make sure your one of them

  1. Heaven is not, as some believe, the future home of any man, righteous or not. Revelation 5:10 shows that God’s saints will reign not in heaven but “on the earth.” Revelation 21 and 22 describe the coming time when God the Father and heavenly Jerusalem will come down to Earth after it has been purified. In other words, man is not going to heaven—God is coming here!

The word hell is used in the New Testament as a translation for three different Greek words: hades, tartaroo and gehenna. Hades refers to a grave or pit, and has no connection to fire. When a person dies, he or she goes to this hell, better known as the grave. Jesus Christ Himself went there. In Acts 2:31 we read, “his soul was not left in hell [but it did go there], neither his flesh did see corruption.” We can see here that this word hell refers to the grave.

In Ecclesiastes 9:5, we learn that the dead know absolutely nothing: “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” It is as though the dead person is asleep in the grave, totally unaware of everything. Ecclesiastes 3:19 shows that man dies just as the animals do. The word hades is roughly equivalent to the word sheol in the Old Testament. Sheol is the only word translated hell in the Old Testament.

The second word in the New Testament that is translated as hell is tartaroo. This word is mentioned only once in Scripture: “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment” (ii Peter 2:4). Tartaroo is used only in reference to rebellious angels as a place of restraint. Nowhere does the Bible mention human beings being placed in this hell. This tartaroo, like hades, also makes no mention of fire; rather, it talks about chains of darkness.

At present, all of the dead—righteous men and sinners alike—are asleep in their graves (sheol or hades) awaiting resurrection. The Bible shows that all who die—even Timothy McVeigh—will eventually be resurrected. The question is not if a person will be resurrected, but when. So says the Bible: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order” (i Cor. 15:22-23).

Jesus Christ was the first to be resurrected. He is the “firstborn among many brethren” (Rom. 8:29) and has made possible the resurrection of everyone who has ever lived. A careful study of God’s Word reveals that there are actually three resurrections yet to come.

The first resurrection is reserved specially for the dead in Christ and those who are Christ’s at His coming. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (i Thes. 4:16-17).

These are those who have repented and received the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:9). These people will live forever and reign with Christ throughout the Millennium, as shown in Revelation 20:5-6.

Revelation 20:5 shows when the next resurrection will take place: “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.” At the end of the thousand years, everyone else who has ever died will be resurrected as physical human beings.

Most of humanity will be brought back to life in this resurrection, as described in Ezekiel 37:1-14. They will then finally have God’s truth revealed to them and be given their chance to become a part of God’s Kingdom. The many billions of people who did not learn God’s way during their lifetime will be given the chance to do so. In His mercy, God will resurrect your loved ones who did not learn the truth.

God will also resurrect serial killers, sex offenders and other criminals. Adolf Hitler, Attila the Hun and even Timothy McVeigh will be given a chance to learn God’s way—for the first time. This is not a “second chance.” These men simply did not understand God’s truth in their lifetimes. In the second resurrection, their eyes too will be opened to God’s truth. They will then be expected to respond and repent of their evil ways—to convert to a new way of life. This period of time is called the Great White Throne Judgment.

The third resurrection is a resurrection to a second death. The prophet Daniel spoke of this resurrection: “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Dan. 12:2). Jesus Christ calls it the resurrection of condemnation (John 5:29).

It is in this resurrection that we read of a hell fire—gehenna. A Dictionary of the Bible, edited by James Hastings, says this: “Gehenna: the word occurs 12 times in the New Testament. This term gehenna represents ‘the Valley of Hinnom’ (Neh. 11:30; ii Kings 23:10, etc.). The place was…a deep, narrow gorge in the vicinity of Jerusalem, understood to be on the south side. It is repeatedly mentioned in the Old Testament (Jer. 19:6, etc.). It became an object of horror to the Jews, and is said to have been made the receptacle for bones, the bodies of beasts and criminals, refuse and all unclean things…. The fires said to have been kept burning in it in order to consume the foul and corrupt objects that were thrown into it, made it a natural and unmistakable symbol of dire evil…absolute ruin. So it came to designate the place of future punishment.”

This gehenna, anciently, was a place of absolute destruction. Anything thrown into this pit was utterly destroyed, leaving nothing but ashes. The punishment for sinners will be death by an all-consuming fire.

Does this mean that the wicked are writhing in agony for all eternity, as Dante claimed? Absolutely not! The wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23), not eternal life in torture.

Everyone will be given the opportunity to repent and become a part of God’s family, but not everyone will accept it. Those who are not found in the book of life will be cast into a lake of fire, ending their existence forever (Rev. 20:14-15). The incorrigibly wicked will have died the second death, from which there will never be a resurrection. This is a merciful act on the part of their Creator. These people would be miserable eternally if they had immortal life, so God mercifully ends their lives, leaving only the “smoke of their torment” to ascend forever (Rev. 14:11).

Timothy McVeigh is in “hell” now—that is, his grave. He will be completely unconscious until the resurrection of the dead. Our Father in heaven will give him a chance at real life, to learn God’s way and enter into His divine family. God has not given up on him. All of the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing will live again as well. In His boundless mercy, God does not want to give up on any of His children. Everyone who ever lived will be given a chance in the coming Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What a glorious vision of the future!

  2. Mahalia , No No ..you are absolutely wrong on all of your points.
There is eternal torment.—There are no second chances after death to be saved either. Re read the unbeliever’s soul after death. Also please keep you comments brief. Thanks

  3. Jasmine, remove your pride for 1 second and subject yourself to the chance that your wrong. Now should God condemn you in hell for eternity. Have you ever touched fire? Can you imagine being thrown into a lake of fire and suffering for an eternity is like(even though spirit beings dont feel like physical ones and if Satan and the demons are here on earth, how are they also in “hell”). And the things Hitler did and even if they were 100 times worse, he doesn’t deserve such torment. These things are sick and perverted and come from a God I will NEVER serve.

However the merciful God I know will give someone like Hitler a second chance just because he never knew the truth. Even he hasn’t committed the unpardonable sin. See an anti-christ must know christ first.

Revelation 20, talks about the thousand years and the resurrections. Can you please explain what all of that means according to your beliefs?

I can justify everything I’m saying because I use to believe in EVERYTHING you do about a year ago today. You see sin on one level. That’s just a moral level. Of course it’s not good to steal, curse, become drunk, murder, commit fornication, etc. Elementary schools teach you not to do these things. Then there’s the sin God reveals in the mind. Something I could never give you, He magnifies selfishness on levels hundreds of times till the day you die. As long your not lukewarm and cut off from his spirit. This is achieved through his holy days, his sabbath, and repenting(changing).

It’s important that you don’t reject everything that is being said. When your in a room with a bad smell, you get use to it after a while. Well that’s whats happening in this world primarily in the economy and in war.
JASMINE, IMAGINE IF YOU WERE BORN IN A TRIBE IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, SHOULD YOU SUFFER FROM THE DAY YOU DAY TILL FOREVER. GOD IS MERCIFUL, TRUST HIS WORD DONT DISTORT IT. What Mahalia said is correct.

  4. Random guy , What you believe has no bearing on reality. Frost freezes whether you believe it or not. Fire burns whether you believe it or not. Hell is real and there are souls in torment there , whether you believe it or not.
As far as your example of the third world person, God is merciful……HE is ALL KNOWING….HE knows the choice that person would have made had they been presented with the gospel and will judge fairly. But believe me, very few people are in that boat.
As far as the resurrections…. Unbelievers will be resurrected to be formally sentenced by the LORD to the Lake of fire ; this is the second death.

  5. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” SIN HAS NO FUTURE…..

  6. If the law was done away with and nailed to the cross, why did Paul still keep the sabbath and the feast of tabernacles and all of God’s holy days after the death of christ?

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Acts 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this FEAST that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Also found in the new testament:
1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

  7. Mahalia, Sin will have no future… that is correct as it will be banished from God’s presence and creation for all eternity .

    Comment by jasmine71 — January 15, 2009 @ 11:08 pm

  8. Random guy , what does your latest comment have to do with this blog ? Anyway , the law still lives.. God will use it to judge all unbelievers [the unsaved] to the Lake of Fire. Also once again, keeping the law gives evidence to your fellow mankind you are saved [ a child of God ] . However keeping the law does not give salvation . You can’t put the cart before the horse. This concept seems to be very confusing for many people. Reread the blog , ‘The Mosaic Law does not give salvation’.

    Comment by jasmine71 — January 15, 2009 @ 11:28 pm

  9. Why make such a big deal about Mosaic authorship? Isn’t paying attention to the content of the books more important? The fact is, Moses’s authorship matters. The Bible claims to be a book of truth. In Psalms it is written: “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever” (Psalms 119:160). We must hold this kind of faith.Without LAWS, there is no such thing as SIN… Then no need for SAVIOUR…Therefore Mosaic laws are prerequisite of salvation…..Just reminding you Philosophy 101 and Bible Truths…

    Comment by Mahalia — January 16, 2009 @ 6:26 am

  10. Mahalia, authorship is not the issue. Let me try again to restate my points to clear this up.
    ——Again
The “Law” was given to to keep men from boasting of their own righteousness and see themselves guilty before God -Roman. 3:19,20
The “Law” is to be a “Schoolmaster” to lead men to Christ. Gal. 3:24-25… We ,as the Body of Christ, are to be the LIGHT of the World and are to show the World what sin is and their need for Christ as Savior. We are to keep the “Law” as best as we can ; BUT Keeping the “Law” does NOT SAVE us from sin. You can’t put the cart before the horse . Keeping the “Law” and living a HOLY life is the EVIDENCE that you have been saved by the LORD; evidence that a person truly accepted Jesus as LORD and SAVIOR with a sincere heart.

  11. Faith in Christ and Faith of Christ are the two keys to Salvation….Even if you have the key to open a door but you do not turn the knob, the door will never open….BELIEVE AND BEHAVE … Even the demons believed in Jesus, yet they do not have salvation…To behave, you need to know and keep the God’s laws….

    Comment by Mahalia — January 16, 2009 @ 9:43 am

  12. Mahalia, the Faith of Christ does not give salvation. It does, however, help you with your daily walk with the Lord Jesus.

    Comment by jasmine71 — January 19, 2009 @ 10:38 pm

  13. Most Christian groups recognize Revelation tells of how all the wicked people who have died without Christ throughout history are to be resurrected for the judgment. Indeed, the central characteristic of this prophetic sequence is how all the dead who rejected Christ, were judged and cast into the lake of fire:

“And I saw a great white throne,…And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God…And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11,12,15)

Ron Weinland simply ignores this plain statement and twists the text completely as he claims that all the wicked dead don’t end up in the lake of fire at all. He says everyone gets another chance to live in what he calls “God’s world.” Writing about the 1,000 year reign of Christ on Earth as described in Revelation, He states

“But the rest of the dead [the rest of mankind who had lived and died throughout the first 6,000 years of man’s time on earth] lived not again until the thousand years were finished [they will be resurrected to physical life once more, but they will then be living in God’s world once the 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ has ended].” (page 140)

This means we’ll see Hitler, Genghis Khan, Joseph Stalin, Attila the Hun, and even Charles Manson, in “God’s World.” However, since they’ve been dead for so long, Ron tells us they will behave better in their second time around.

Unfortunately, if they don’t behave better, none of them will die young, because in Ronald Weinland’s world, everyone gets exactly 100 years to prove they’ve learned their lesson:

“All who have ever lived and died will be resurrected to physical life once more. There will no longer be reproduction of human life, but there will be a one hundred year period of time for man to live and be judged by God’s way of life.” (page 169)

Actually, I may need that second hundred years, because since I’ve spoken against “God’s Final Witness,” Ron will likely see to it that I miss that Millennial thing. Hopefully, when I get my guaranteed hundred years, I won’t have to live near Vlad The Impaler.

  14. If you see a Christian do something wrong, don’t sit in judgment and condemn—that’s God’s business to judge, not yours! Let’s have compassion and mercy—we don’t know the inner heart of others—only God does!

And if you, yourself, have stumbled and fallen down, don’t be discouraged! Get up and press on ahead!

God looks on the heart—the attitude—the intent.
