The Catholic Mary

Material from http://www.jesus-is-lord.com

The Catholic Mary is a devil!

Mary, Dear friend,

Do you see anything terribly wrong with this picture? I do. This is the Catholic Mary. Look at her hands. Do you see the scars of crucifixion? That’s blasphemous and creepy. Does this bother you? Look at the caption. It says that Mary is co-redeemer (co-redemptrix) with Jesus Christ. Look again…it says she our advocate–but wait a minute. I John 2:1 says that Jesus is our advocate–

“…if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

The Roman Catholic Mary is a usurper.

Look again, this abominable image also says that Mary mediates/dispenses the grace of God. This is insanity when compared with the Bible. Why is light emitting from her wounds? Is she supposed to be the light of the world and power of God? Wait a minute, notice that she is pregnant. Jesus is supposedly still in her womb, a fetus totally dependent on her– meanwhile she’s all powerful! You may want to see our article “Catholics believe Jesus is a Mama’s Boy”.

Did you know that Roman Catholics call Mary the “Queen of Heaven”? Did you know that the Bible talks about the queen of heaven? It does. The queen of heaven is A PAGAN GODDESS, A DEVIL– Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

You can also read about this devil, the queen of heaven, in Jeremiah chapter 44. In this little treatise you will see FROM CATHOLIC SOURCES that

  • they call their Mary the queen of heaven. This is not the Mary of the Bible.
  • they pray to Mary
  • they turn to Mary for help for sin
  • they believe she was born sinless just like Jesus (called the Immaculate Conception–should be “Deception”)
  • they believe she never saw physical death (called the Assumption of Mary)

these are not all of the errors that Papists expound in regards to Mary…

Prayer to Mary, Queen of Heaven [these are the website words, not mine]

Queen of heaven, rejoice. Alleluia. The Son whom you were privileged to bear, Alleluia, has risen as he said, Alleluia. Pray to God for us, Alleluia. Rejoice and be glad, Virgin Mary, Alleluia. For the Lord has truly risen, Alleluia.

O God, it was by the Resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, that you brought joy to the world. Grant that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, his Mother, we may attain the joy of eternal life. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

The Coronation of Mary

The Coronation of Mary
Queen of Heaven

The feast of the Queenship of Mary was established in 1954 by Pope Pius XII. The original date for this feast was chosen as May 31st, but was later moved to the octave day of the feast of the Assumption, August 22nd. This memorial celebrates the same event that is highlighted by the fifth glorious mystery or the Rosary.

Throughout the New Testament, Mary’s role in heaven is mentioned. Mary is alluded to as Queen in the book of Revelations [tracy’s note: that passage refers to ISRAEL NOT MARY], and throughout the Bible. It is because of Jesus close relationship with his mother that she shares in his kingship.

The Church and the faithful for have also referred to Mary as queen since the fourth century. Various songs, litanies, and prayers refer to Mary as queen. (e.g. Regina Caeli during Eastertide.) The Church has affirmed the title of Mary in modern times through documents including Lumen Gentium (…”and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son” Lumen Gentium 59) and the papal encyclical Ad Coeli Reginam.

The title Queen is used to indicate the final state of the Virgin, seated beside her Son, the King of glory.

Queen of Heaven rejoice, alleluia
The Son whom you merited to bear alleluia
Has risen as he said alleluia
Pray for us to God alleluia
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia!
For the Lord has truly risen alleluia

Leaflets of Faith

In a unique way, Mary co-operated by her obedience, faith, hope and burning charity in restoring supernatural life to souls. For this reason, she is a mother to us in the order of grace. Catholics, in seeking to conquer sin and increase in holiness, turn to Mary who shines forth to the Church as the model of virtues. She displays that motherly love which all, who join in the Church’s mission to humanity, should embrace and display (Lumen Gentium 60, 61, 65)

[tracy’s note: concerning the following, sometimes the queen of heaven devil may manifest. Catholics call these manifestations, “apparitions”.]–

There have been special interventions of Mary in local churches. She appeared at Fatima in Portugal in 1917 with a message of prayer and reparation for the salvation of souls. In addition to this Gospel message, the Virgin prophesied certain events in history which, some suggest, included the recent collapse of Communism. In Mexico in 1531, Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to an Aztec peasant, Juan Diego, at which time she declared herself as “your merciful mother; to you and all inhabitants of the earth”. As proof of her visit and concern, she left her image on the cloak, the tilma, of Juan Diego which is still displayed more than four hundred years later in the Basilica near Mexico City. More importantly, her appearance was the impetus to the evangelization of Mexico. Within a few years, eight million Indians were baptized.

  • Novena Prayers To Our Lady of the SnowsRemember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee,
    O Virgin of virgins, my Mother;
to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful
    ;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

    Amen

  • “Never hesitate to look to Mary, the Mother of the Holy Family.”
Pope John Paul II, ‘The Pope of the Rosary’
  • All-powerful and ever-living God, you raised the SINLESS Virgin Mary, mother of your Son, body and soul to the glory of heaven. May we see heaven as our final goal and come to share with HER glory. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
  • Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed Fruit of they womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

It didn’t take me long to find this information. It took me longer to format it than find it. You could spend a year looking up this goddess worship and still not be close to exploring it fully. Catholics pray to, worship, and venerate their Mary–this is not the Mary of the Bible. This is the queen of heaven spoken of in Jeremiah.

  1. Oh dear, you are very sad in your total lack of understanding – and basic intelligence. Oberon.

  2. Oberon, Obviously I struck a nerve by the looks of your childish ( and vague) comment.

  3. My dear, Catholic’s do NOT worship Mary at all. We honor her… which is hard for non Catholics to understand. I used to be an anti Catholic Protestant. I am now Catholic, Mary played a huge role in Christ life, she is our human connection with Christ, God the Father chose her to bare God the son here on earth. she can pray for us, just like any living person on life can pray for a sick or dying person. We believe that God is all around us; we, as Christians believe that all people in heaven are of God, and God being around us, saints can pray for us, and interecede. Yes, Jesus is our only mediator between God and man, but Mary can pray to for us as well. Mary is the highest saint in heaven, she is our holy mother, once Jesus gave her to John, it represents him giving her to us to be our Mother. Protestants have her in the nativity scene at Christmas, but right after she goes back in the closet as if they were to worship her, or ackknowledge her…. If you did a great thing like save someones life, you wouldn’t want thanks and gratitude but you do deserve it, just like Mary she deserves honor and love. Christ sacrifice is the only sacrifice there is. that’s it. She can pray for us, that is why she is our Co Redemprix, not to take honor and worship away from Jesus, but to bring us closer to him! Happy Palm Sunday!

  4. Mary is not a god, therefore, she can not hear your gratitude or your prayers.. Yes ,Mary was the special vessel chosen to carry the living Savior, but she, as a sinner, needed to be saved by Him as well. She is no more special than the rest of humanity. This veneration of Mary goes back to the tower of Babel where Nimrod and his wife, Sermiramis, started the Mother-child cult, which is nothing more than Baal worship. It resurfaced in Rome when Constantine made all of the nation’s pagan gods Christian with the flick of a pen (Roman Catholicism and it’s saints). Look up Sermiramis and the Roman Catholic church on google and do some research 🙂
Thanks for your input however. Have a great week!
