Welcome to A Brand New Day
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
PSALM 84:11-12
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Dear Brother or Sister in Christ,
I hope that you’ll e-mail me to let me know that you’ve been saved so that I can praise the Lord for you. I also want to lift you up to the Almighty in prayer.
God loves you. He knows everything about you. The Bible says that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth. Through His Son, He has made you a child and joint-heir of His riches. And like a good father, He takes great care of His children: He protects, comforts, provides, teaches, nutures, guides, loves, and desires your good. God is your Father!
Because Jesus has paid the debt for your sin, you are now free to worship God and to get to know Him. If you want Him to, He will do the impossible in your life. The Christian life is not complicated at all when it is lived as found in the Bible which is God’s holy word. If you live right you will suffer, but even that is part of your growth. You will have peace in Jesus.
Remember that you walk simultaneously in the realm of the spiritual and the temporal. You are in the presence and care of God whether you are cooking dinner or sitting in a church pew. Whether you are praying or washing your car. Being a Christian is a lifestyle that affects every area of your life. If you walk with God (do things His way), you will be blessed. Jesus said, “Whosoever loveth me keepeth my commandments.” If you are a serious disciple of Jesus Christ, you will do His will. Here are some things that you must do to live victoriously in Jesus.
NOTE: New Christians oftentimes experience spiritual attacks. You may experience more temptations and problems than usual, but do not be discouraged and do not let these things take your eyes off of the Lord. Do not be surprised if your tire blows out or someone gets mad at you for no apparent reason. Pray, read the Bible, trust in God and don’t argue. Watch God work in your life.
We are here to support you however we can. If you let us know your needs we’ll pray for you and offer you advice directly from the Bible.

How to Get to Heaven |
How does a person get to heaven? If you ask most people this question, they will say something like, “If you do more good things than bad things, God will probably let you into heaven.” The above thinking will reserve your place in hell. You need FAITH IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS. There are no good deeds that you can do on your own that will erase the sins that you have committed. Jesus SHED BLOOD for you sins. He came to save you from the GUILT of past sins and the POWER of sin over your life. You are about to read the most important information that you will ever read. It is called the gospel of Jesus Christ. The word “gospel” means “message”*. The gospel is God’s message to mankind. If you will yield to the gospel, you will be reconciled to God and you will escape eternal damnation in hell and the lake of fire. Besides all of this, you will have abudant life right now as you walk with the Creator of the universe–in spite of all the woes the world will throw at you. If you are full of doubts, ask Jesus to help you to understand and to be willing to be saved.
Jesus waits with open arms for those that want life. The choice is yours. If you’re sick of being alienated from God, if you’re tired of what this wicked and perverse world has to offer, if you want Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, if you want to be reconciled unto your Creator, if you want to go to heaven, if you want to escape hell — put your faith in the One who can do something about it! Do you believe that Jesus Christ died for you? Do you believe that He rose from the dead? Do you repent of your sins? Do you want to follow Jesus? If so, REPENT and talk to the Lord in prayer in your own words right now. Don’t put off making a decision for Jesus, tomorrow may be too late. Some people don’t know how to pray. Praying is just talking to the Lord. If you want to be saved, repent and pray–you can say something like, “Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I want to be saved. I repent of my sins, every one. I don’t want to do evil anymore, I want to do righteousness through the blood of Jesus. I’m asking you to please forgive me of my sins against you. I want a new life in the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to be everything that You created me to be. I believe that Jesus shed His blood and died for me so that I could be saved from my sins. I believe that He rose from the dead on the third day. I want to be your child. Thank you for being merciful to me, a sinner. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving my soul from sin. Please fill me with your precious, Holy Spirit so that I can live a righteous, self-denying life for you. I’m giving you myself. Please show me what you want me to do. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.” If you have placed your faith in Jesus, praise God, you are a Christian. Now begins your new life of freedom and obedience to the Lord. Now you need to (1) start reading the Bible (Authorized King James Version of 1611–begin with the gospels) and (2) you need to get yourself into a Bible-believing church that uses the King James Bible so you can get baptized and discipled in the way of Christ. Please see the section on the new life for more information. If you’ve gotten saved through this witness, please e-mail me at tracy@jesus-is-lord.com so that we can rejoice together. Warning!!! Once you get saved, the devil will try to make sure that you encounter false doctrine. Your faith is tender and you will be prone to believe anything people tell you about the Bible (that’s why you need to read it for yourself everyday). If you have any questions, please write me and I will direct you to the appropriate scriptures. Please heed these warnings: 1. Don’t let anybody tell you that you have to “speak in tongues” to show that you are saved. These people take one or two passages out of context and make false doctrine out of them. 2. Don’t let anyone tell you that water baptism saves you. If you are saved, you WILL get baptized out of obedience. Saved people are children of obedience (Heb 5:9). The gospel and baptism are separate–I Cor 1:17. You are baptized in order to outwardly identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and to symbolically show the washing away of sins. So if you are trusting in your baptism to save you, you are wrong. An unrepentant sinner will go down a dry sinner and come out a wet sinner.
3. Don’t let anybody tell you that you’re going to hell if you don’t go to church on Saturday–Colossians 2:16, Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days. If you have not trusted Christ, I hope that you won’t continue to reject His offer of life. You are in a dangerous position. John 3:36 says, “…he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” You will not make it into heaven on your own “good merits” or by your own conception of Who and What God should be like. He always has His way–the choice is yours to accept or reject. |

Hell is Real…
Don’t be fooled! <!– –>
keywords: hell, child of hell, Satan, hell is real, Jesus saves from hell
People don’t like to hear about hell. But I’m here to tell you that if Jesus is not your Lord and Savior, you are on your way to hell. Some of you will be upset at this bad news. You think that I’m all gloom and doom. Tell me this…if your house were on fire, would you want me to let you know? Of course you would. You’d probably thank me for telling you. Well, if you go to hell, YOU will be the one on fire.Hell may not be a politically correct topic these days, but many people enter hell everyday. Out of the 120,000 people that die everyday, most end up in hell. Hell is a real place despite the fact that people laugh and say that they want to go there. They simply don’t understand how terrible hell is. Just because you’ve never seen hell doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. We have a searing, accurate description of what hell is like in God’s word. (We’ll get to some scriptures in a minute) Hell is awful and if you don’t believe in Jesus, you’d better get on the stick or else that’s going to be your eternal destination.
Satan, the god of this world, WILL NOT always cause havoc. His doom is already foretold, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10)
Did you know that if you do not belong to Jesus Christ you belong to Satan? You don’t have to be a card carrying Satanist to serve Satan. You don’t have to be a murderer, drunkard or drug addict, either. All you have to do is ignore Jesus Christ. If you don’t have Jesus today, you are deceived and hell bound–you are a child of hell, a child of the devil.
How many times have I heard someone say, “A loving God wouldn’t put His creatures in hell.” Well I have news for you, friend, God doesn’t put anyone in hell–their sins put them there. Know ye not that hell was not created for man? Hell was created for the devil and his angels–
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS. (Matthew 25:41)
Men go to hell because they choose the devil’s way and reject the Lord Jesus. God is holy and will not allow any sin in His kingdom. As a result, when people die in their sins they are forever banished from the presence of God to a place called hell–and it ain’t pretty. Incidentally, Satan won’t be ruling in the lake of fire. He’ll be screamin’ and hollerin’ just like everybody else–
the devil…shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
Think about this…God, out of profound love for you–a vile sinner who has transgressed His commandments–let His own beautiful, dear Son be sacrificed for YOUR sins! Jesus wasn’t a sinner. He didn’t sin one time. He didn’t die for Himself. He died for you. To save YOU. That’s why He is called the Saviour. Because He SAVES from hell! If you reject His sacrifice and trod it underfoot it should not be too hard for you to understand that the same God who sacrificed His beloved Son will expeditiously cast your rebellious hind parts into hell and the lake of fire. NOTHING unclean will ever enter God’s heaven–and all unregenerate people are unclean. I too was once dead in trespasses and sins, but one lovely day I turned my face to Jesus and got washed in the blood. You can too–no matter what you’ve done.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
God does not want you in hell! Jesus came to save you from that horrible place! Don’t lie and say God puts people in hell! Get right with Jesus and you won’t go there! Look at these scriptures:
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die… (Ezekiel 33:11)
The Lord is…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9)
The Bible says that God loves you so much that the Creator of this universe (Jesus Christ) came to “taste death” for every man. Jesus wasn’t just some baby for a manger scene. He is God come in the flesh to destroy the power of death and hell–He holds the keys, people! If you say yes to Jesus, hell won’t be your final destination. If you say no to Jesus, hell will be your eternal home. There ain’t no getting out and no comfort–it’s everlasting.
Regardless of whether you believe it or not, hell exists and the Bible says that it is never full. I’ve heard folks say that hell is not mentioned in the Bible or that hell is just the grave. Well, let’s take a look at what the Bible says. Here are a few scriptures that deal with hell and the lake of fire (at the final judgment, hell, death and those not written in the book of life will be cast into the lake fire):
Matthew 25:41 (Jesus speaking to people at final judgment), …Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
Revelation 14:11, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night…
Revelation 20:12, 15, And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life…And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Matthew 10:28, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 12:5, But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which AFTER he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Matthew 18:8, 9 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into EVERLASTING punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
II Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with EVERLASTING destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.
Isaiah 66:24, And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be abhorring unto all flesh.
Mark 9:44 (speaking of hell), Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Jude 7, Sodom and Gomorrha…are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Matthew 22:13, …Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 13:41-42, The Son of man (Jesus) shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Revelation 21:8, But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Psalm 9:17, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Isaiah 14:99-11, 15 (referring to Lucifer), Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee…all they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee…thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Daniel 12:2, And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and EVERLASTING contempt.
The following is a true story as told by the Lord Jesus in Luke 16:19-31:
19. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28. For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Sinner, you will either TURN from your sins to Jesus or you will BURN for your sins. If you reject the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be tormented in the flames forever without a single, solitary hope. The biggest fool in the world chooses hell. No need to argue with me about this. God said hell is real, your argument is with Him and you won’t win that one. You have been warned. Repent or perish.

This post is due to the fact that many people who visit wordpress and then my blog do not seem to understand God’s great plan of salvation. They still want to believe the spurious doctrine of legalism. Legalism means earning salvation by good works …that’s absolutely wrong. Many cults preach legalism; that in order to have salvation you are REQUIRED to be baptized, Keep the Sabbath, tithe, partake of sacraments, join a specific Church, or confess sins to a priest. A prime example of a legalistic religion/cult is Ronald Weinland ‘s Church of God- PKG . However, salvation is a FREE GIFT which absolutely cannot be merited in any way (Romans 5:15; 11:6; Ephesians 2:8,9). I explain this spiritual fact in my first post Saving Faith . Here is the link if you wish to look at it again. The post is in very plain language. https://jasmine71.wordpress.com/2008/12/15/saving-faith/
That said , lets go back to the basics :
As stated above, there is no other name under Heaven by which man can be saved other than through the name of Jesus Christ! God the Father will not honor any other name, religion or faith!
Please note the extreme power and authority on the first four verses listed below. These first four verses specifically tell us, without any other possible interpretation, that Jesus Christ is the only way to be able to receive eternal salvation from God the Father.
I do not see any other interpretation as to what these verses are trying to tell us other than Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father and His dwelling place, heaven! I don’t think God the Father could have made things any more clearer than by the way He has worded all of the above Scripture verses!
Jesus Himself said in the New Testament
that He did not come to bring peace – but division! What He means by this is that He is drawing a major battle line in the sand. You either believe in Him and everything that He stands for – or you do not. There are no middle or neutral grounds on this issue.
If you choose not to believe in Jesus and His message of eternal salvation through His death on the cross, then you will die in your sins and go straight to hell when you die – no if, ands or buts about it! The life that we are living down here on this earth is serious business! The choices that we make in this life will determine our ultimate fate in the afterlife.
Choose Jesus and the blood that He has personally shed for you on the cross – and you will become saved and born again – and you will then enter into the most incredible place imaginable when you die – heaven itself!
Choose anyone or anything else, and you will cross over into the most horrible place imaginable when you die – hell itself, and then eventually into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone after the Millennium has taken place, where the Bible says that the smoke of your torment will ascend forever and ever!
We Are Saved by Grace Through Faith – Not Works
The gift of eternal salvation is a free gift given by God to all those who will believe on Jesus and what His death on the cross really means for all of us. These next 3 verses will specifically tell us that good works will not get us into heaven.Works are needed after salvation. The Bible says that faith without works is dead – but that is after you have received God’s gift of eternal salvation. After you get saved, God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and this is where you will go to work for God into whatever your calling is going to be in Him.
But to initially receive the gift of eternal salvation from God the Father is simply done through faith and belief in accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Here are the verses:
- “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8)
- “… knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ … for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.” (Galatians 2:16)
- “Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin … for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:20,23)
The Bible specifically tells us in that last verse that all men and all women have sinned and have fallen way short of the glory of our God. The Bible says that there are none that are righteous before the eyes of God the Father.
As a result, none of our fleshly works, no matter how good we think they may be, will ever be good enough to get us into heaven or back into the good graces of our Lord and Savior.
The Gift of Salvation Now Makes Us Righteous Before God the Father
Once you become saved and born again by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, the Bible says that we are now made perfectly righteous before the eyes of God. The righteousness of Jesus has now been imputed to us. This means that we are now free to approach the throne of God for intimate prayer and communication, and when we die, we will all go straight to heaven.
Even though we will continue to commit sin from time to time, God will always forgive us as long as we properly confess each sin when it does happen. We will never become totally sinless or perfect. No one will ever become the fourth person of the Holy Trinity. Only God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are totally perfect in Their actual natures and in all of Their ways. Humans and angels are not!
The Bible says that all men have sinned and will continue to sin, and thus will fall way short of the glory of our God. That is why Jesus had to come and die for all of our sins – which will include all of the past sins that we have ever committed, all of the present sins we are now committing, and all of the future sins that we will ever commit.
As a result of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins, God the Father now sees us as righteous and justified before His very eyes – now and for all of eternity, even though we are all still sinners! Talk about an incredible pardon!
Here are two very powerful verses showing us that we have now all been made perfectly righteous and perfectly justified before God the Father as a result of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins.
- “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Romans 5:8)
So not only do we get a full pardon and a full remission for all of our sins, but we now get to be made perfectly righteous before God the Father Himself. Righteousness and Redemption – what more could we ask for!
How to Become Saved and Receive the Gift of Eternal Salvation
The Bible makes it very clear as to how to receive the Gift of Eternal Salvation from God the Father:
- Admit that we are sinners, be willing to confess our sins before God, and be willing to repent and turn from those sins.
- Be willing to accept the fact that Jesus Christ came to our earth in the flesh to die on the cross for all of our sins, that He rose from the dead on the third day, and then be willing to formally accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior.
This acceptance of Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior must be confessed out loud before God the Father. It does not have to be done in a church. This can happen to anyone at anytime at any place. It can be done in the privacy of one’s own bedroom. Here are three specific verses showing all of the above points.
- “REPENT THEREFORE and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)
- “IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
- “… if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” (Romans 10:9)
Notice the last verse says to confess with your mouth, and with the mouth confession is made to receive salvation. This means just saying a good, basic salvation prayer out loud direct to God the Father from your heart.
Below is a good, basic salvation prayer to give to someone who wants to get saved by accepting Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Some people call this the “Sinners Prayer.” Others call it a basic salvation prayer. Either title will work.
Basic Salvation Prayer
Say the following prayer out loud, believe it from your heart and you will be saved.
Dear Father,
I now believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son, that He came to our earth in the flesh and died on the cross to take away all of my sins and the sins of this world. I believe that Jesus Christ then rose from the dead on the third day to give all of us eternal life.
Lord Jesus,
I now confess to You all of the wrong and sinful things I have ever done in my life. I ask that You please forgive Me and wash away all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on the cross. I am now ready to accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. I now ask that You come into my life and live with Me for all of eternity.
Father, Jesus – I now believe that I am truly saved and born again.
Thank you Father. Thank you Jesus. —————————————————————–
Bottom line – God’s free gift of eternal salvation can only be received by accepting His Son Jesus Christ and the blood that He has personally shed for each and everyone of us on that day He died on the cross.
There is no other way into the kingdom of God! We either come through the blood and the cross – or we don’t come through at all!
I rest my case for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
