Counterfeit Christianity – Part 1

The following clip is a message from John Hagee; I totally agree with him one hundred percent.   Many “Christians” who think they are going to heaven (saved) are in fact on their way to Hell (lost).

New Life In Jesus Christ

Welcome to A Brand New Day

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

PSALM 84:11-12

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Dear Brother or Sister in Christ,

I hope that you’ll e-mail me to let me know that you’ve been saved so that I can praise the Lord for you. I also want to lift you up to the Almighty in prayer.

God loves you. He knows everything about you. The Bible says that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth. Through His Son, He has made you a child and joint-heir of His riches. And like a good father, He takes great care of His children: He protects, comforts, provides, teaches, nutures, guides, loves, and desires your good. God is your Father!

Because Jesus has paid the debt for your sin, you are now free to worship God and to get to know Him. If you want Him to, He will do the impossible in your life. The Christian life is not complicated at all when it is lived as found in the Bible which is God’s holy word. If you live right you will suffer, but even that is part of your growth. You will have peace in Jesus.

Remember that you walk simultaneously in the realm of the spiritual and the temporal. You are in the presence and care of God whether you are cooking dinner or sitting in a church pew. Whether you are praying or washing your car. Being a Christian is a lifestyle that affects every area of your life. If you walk with God (do things His way), you will be blessed. Jesus said, “Whosoever loveth me keepeth my commandments.” If you are a serious disciple of Jesus Christ, you will do His will. Here are some things that you must do to live victoriously in Jesus.

  1. Read the Bible everyday.
  2. The Bible is God’s word. This is how He talks to you. It is like no other book in the entire world–it is living. Pray before you pick it up. Some of you may not know how to pray. It is simply talking to God. Make sure you close your prayer “In Jesus Name” which Jesus told us to do.

You may not understand everything that you read the first time. The Holy Spirit will help you to understand what you need to know. You can also talk to your preacher or leave a comment/question.

Start with the book of John which is the fourth book of the New Testament. If you print out our copy of John it will be about 47 pages.

If you get sleepy when you begin to read the Bible, continue anyway! The devils that had control over you before you trusted Jesus don’t want you to read the Bible–it is dangerous to them. Reading the Bible will change your life–it certainly changed mine. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to overcome temptation, gain wisdom, trust God, know His will, have peace regardless of your circumstances, and so much more.

  3. Go to a Bible-believing church where the Bible is taught as the final authority.
  4. This excludes Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, and a number of other organizations that add other doctrines to the Bible. Unfortunately, there are a lot of cults that claim to be Christian, but that teach a different gospel from that which is found in the Bible. This is another important reason for you to read the Bible. You will know the truth and the truth will make you free–nobody can fool you with false doctrine. You need to get yourself into a Bible-believing church–one that uses the King James Bible of 1611.

  5. Get baptized.
  6. When you get baptized you are, 1) identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ 2) making a public profession of your belief in Jesus 3) showing the washing away of sins. Water baptism does not save you, but it is NOT an option–Jesus commanded that we do it. It is one of your first steps of obedience in a life of obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.

  7. Talk to God in prayer everyday.
  8. Prayer is just talking to God about whatever is on your heart. Some of the things you can do in prayer: praise God’s Holy Name for His goodness, thank Him for your daily provision, tell Him your concerns and problems, pray for others (your enemies, friends, associates and relatives), pray for yourself, pray for the government. This list is by no means exhaustive. As you read the Bible, you will find that your prayers will mature because you’ll know the will of the Lord and His ways.

  9. Tell someone about your decision to trust in Jesus Christ.
  10. Tell other people about Jesus.
  11. Forgive your enemies and anyone that you are embittered against.
  12. Bitterness in your heart can hinder your walk with Jesus. We are to love everyone, even our enemies (Matt 5:44). Don’t forget, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” It is not our responsibility to take revenge on anybody. God judges rightly and He will handle any wrongs perpetrated against us, we’re His children.

  13. Love God supremely and love your neighbor (everybody you meet) as yourself.

NOTE: New Christians oftentimes experience spiritual attacks. You may experience more temptations and problems than usual, but do not be discouraged and do not let these things take your eyes off of the Lord. Do not be surprised if your tire blows out or someone gets mad at you for no apparent reason. Pray, read the Bible, trust in God and don’t argue. Watch God work in your life.

We are here to support you however we can. If you let us know your needs we’ll pray for you and offer you advice directly from the Bible.

How To Receive Eternal Life

How to Get
to Heaven

How does a person get to heaven? If you ask most people this question, they will say something like, “If you do more good things than bad things, God will probably let you into heaven.” The above thinking will reserve your place in hell. You need FAITH IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS. There are no good deeds that you can do on your own that will erase the sins that you have committed. Jesus SHED BLOOD for you sins. He came to save you from the GUILT of past sins and the POWER of sin over your life. You are about to read the most important information that you will ever read. It is called the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The word “gospel” means “message”*. The gospel is God’s message to mankind. If you will yield to the gospel, you will be reconciled to God and you will escape eternal damnation in hell and the lake of fire. Besides all of this, you will have abudant life right now as you walk with the Creator of the universe–in spite of all the woes the world will throw at you. If you are full of doubts, ask Jesus to help you to understand and to be willing to be saved.

*many say the word gospel means, “good news” but in actuality it is only good news for those who receive it with singleness of heart. To others it is the stench of death…eternal death. Revelation 14:6-7 tells us the message of the everlasting gospel–“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and WORSHIP HIM that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” There is only one way to do this–through the blood of Jesus Christ. REPENT ye and BELIEVE the gospel!

  1. The Bible says that nobody is good enough to get into heaven. Each one of us has broken God’s commandments–not one person is excepted. You have personally lied and committed other sins.
  2. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

[L]et God be true, but every man a liar…( Romans 3:4)

  3. I don’t care how much “good” stuff you do, you still can’t go to heaven. You are dead in tresspasses and sins. Your good deeds do not commend you to God in any way. You’ve ignored Him chosing to live life the way YOU see fit.
  4. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)

According to the above verse, we still come up short even when we try to do good deeds BECAUSE we are not doing them under God’s authority. We do them cause WE think they are good. We ignore what God says.

“But I never killed anybody and I’m not a dope addict!” You’re still a spiritual crook. You have broken the GREATEST COMMANDMENT IN THE BIBLE and you are as guilty as a harlot, a whoremonger, a killer, a thief and a liar. What is the greatest commandment?

Matthew 22:36-38 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL thy heart, and with ALL thy soul, and with ALL thy mind. THIS is the first and great commandment.

It doesn’t take much thinking to know that the unregenerate man has broken this commandment every day of his miserable life. Ungrateful, unthankful to the God that hath provided life to his carcass.

For those stuck on their “good” deeds like hellbound papists (who go about to establish their OWN righteousness instead of hearkening to the Bible,) if we could earn our way into heaven, Jesus died for nothing!

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. (Galatians 2:21)

God is Holy. We are sinful. By His very nature, God cannot have fellowship with us sinners. There is no amount of “good” that we can do to make up for our crimes against God. They must be punished. And the wages are DEATH. Somebody has to DIE. Oh, you’ll die physically, sin requires that. But you’ve got a choice about dying spiritually…

  5. We deserve the death penalty. This includes both physical death (the casket) and spiritual death (when the soul is separated from God and cast into hell).
  6. [T]he wages of sin is death…(Romans 6:23)

  7. God doesn’t want to remain your enemy and He does not want you to go to hell.
  8. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die… (Ezekiel 33:11)

The Lord is…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9)

  9. In spite of your wickedness and rebellion, God loved you enough to send His ONLY BEGOTTEN Son to die for your sins. The Bible says, “… thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people FROM their sins.” (Matt 1:21). Jesus did not die so that you could keep sinning and go to heaven. He came to save you from the GUILT and the POWER of sin. Jesus DESTROYED the works of the devil on calvary (I John 3:8). When you are unsaved, sin hath dominion over you. Sin is your boss and you can’t do anything BUT sin. You are under the wrath of a holy and just God. Murderers, thieves, fornicators, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, rebels, and all other spiritual lepers will not inherit the kingdom. The blood of Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. That means the blood took away the guilt of the sins we’ve committed AND it has ushered us into a Father child relationship with the Lord. Through the blood of Jesus, we are to serve sin no more. Again, the Father sent His only begotten Son, Jesus who is God, to die in your place. Remember that the wages of sin is death–that is why He died, to pay YOUR wages. The Lord Jesus Christ was your substitutionary sacrifice. The world’s greatest love story is summed up in the following verse–
  10. For God so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Jesus said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) How can you show more love than giving your very life for someone else’s life? You can’t. What is more amazing is that Jesus died for us WHEN WE WERE HIS ENEMIES! I mean vile, wicked, pitiful, wretched, unclean, unholy, ungodly, prideful, spiritually leperous.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

…Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)

The love of God for you was demonstrated on that cross 2,000 years ago! God ain’t hateful, He is loving. He gave His Son for you even though you are dead in tresspasses and sins.

    Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
2:3 Among whom also we ALL had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

  11. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth to (1) save you from the GUILT and POWER of your sins and (2) RECONCILE you unto God. Through faith in the blood of Jesus you will escape the wrath to come and joyfully look forward to heaven–and you’ll live an overcoming life. God will be your Father instead of your enemy–but only through the blood of Jesus.
  12. ..the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (I John 1:7)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

  13. After His death, the Lord’s body laid in the grave three days, but praise be to God, it did not remain there. On the third day Jesus arose from the dead and was seen by over 500 people (I Corin 15:6) before He went back to heaven. Please remember that Jesus was not some victim or just a baby in a manger–He was and is the eternal God and Savior who came to earth and gave His own blood for your sins. After He accomplished this tremendous feat, He rose from the dead like He said He would:
  14. “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again…” (John 10:17-18)

…Christ died for our sins…and he was buried, and…he rose again the third day… (I Corinthians 15:3-4)

  15. Are you ready to repent of your sins? To repent means to forsake your evil ways and listen to God. All your life you’ve been your own authority concerning what is right and what is wrong. You’ve made your own decisions while ignoring what the Lord says in His holy word, the Bible. You’ve served yourself and not God. To repent means that you turn to GOD AND THE BIBLE AS YOUR AUTHORITY. It means you can say, “Lord everything you say in the Bible is right. If my feelings contradict the Bible I AM WRONG. Lord I want to live under YOUR AUTHORITY, not my own.”
  16. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to REPENT. (Acts 17:30)

TURN TO GOD, AND DO WORKS MEET FOR REPENTANCE. (Acts 26:20)

Repentance ain’t lip service. Are you prepared to live for the Lord? Jesus said this–

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:27)

Determine that you are sick of living under your own authority. You’ve lived the way YOU wanted to. You lived without regard for God’s precepts. Understand in your mind that you’ve lived in sin and in the ways of death. Think it through. Determine that you want God to be your Father and not your enemy. Decide that you WANT the Lord and His ways. Satan ain’t doing nothing but kicking your hind parts up and down the street. He will leave you destroyed. God will lift you up if you submit yourself to Him.

Friend, you have a choice to make,

    1. keep on pursuing Satan and the fleeting pleasures of sin; or,
    2. humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. Further the kingdom of God with power from above. In due time, He will lift you up to places you never experienced–much less knew they existed.
  17. The Holy Bible is the word of God. It is the only way that we know about the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Bible, God testifies that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was buried; and that He rose from the dead on the third day. You must believe and confess this in order to be saved.
  18. [I]f thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. (Romans 10:9)

Jesus waits with open arms for those that want life. The choice is yours. If you’re sick of being alienated from God, if you’re tired of what this wicked and perverse world has to offer, if you want Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, if you want to be reconciled unto your Creator, if you want to go to heaven, if you want to escape hell — put your faith in the One who can do something about it! Do you believe that Jesus Christ died for you? Do you believe that He rose from the dead? Do you repent of your sins? Do you want to follow Jesus? If so, REPENT and talk to the Lord in prayer in your own words right now. Don’t put off making a decision for Jesus, tomorrow may be too late. Some people don’t know how to pray. Praying is just talking to the Lord. If you want to be saved, repent and pray–you can say something like, “Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I want to be saved. I repent of my sins, every one. I don’t want to do evil anymore, I want to do righteousness through the blood of Jesus. I’m asking you to please forgive me of my sins against you. I want a new life in the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to be everything that You created me to be. I believe that Jesus shed His blood and died for me so that I could be saved from my sins. I believe that He rose from the dead on the third day. I want to be your child. Thank you for being merciful to me, a sinner. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving my soul from sin. Please fill me with your precious, Holy Spirit so that I can live a righteous, self-denying life for you. I’m giving you myself. Please show me what you want me to do. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”

If you have placed your faith in Jesus, praise God, you are a Christian. Now begins your new life of freedom and obedience to the Lord. Now you need to (1) start reading the Bible (Authorized King James Version of 1611–begin with the gospels) and (2) you need to get yourself into a Bible-believing church that uses the King James Bible so you can get baptized and discipled in the way of Christ.

Please see the section on the new life for more information. If you’ve gotten saved through this witness, please e-mail me at tracy@jesus-is-lord.com so that we can rejoice together.

Warning!!!

Once you get saved, the devil will try to make sure that you encounter false doctrine. Your faith is tender and you will be prone to believe anything people tell you about the Bible (that’s why you need to read it for yourself everyday). If you have any questions, please write me and I will direct you to the appropriate scriptures. Please heed these warnings:

1. Don’t let anybody tell you that you have to “speak in tongues” to show that you are saved. These people take one or two passages out of context and make false doctrine out of them.

2. Don’t let anyone tell you that water baptism saves you. If you are saved, you WILL get baptized out of obedience. Saved people are children of obedience (Heb 5:9). The gospel and baptism are separate–I Cor 1:17. You are baptized in order to outwardly identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and to symbolically show the washing away of sins. So if you are trusting in your baptism to save you, you are wrong. An unrepentant sinner will go down a dry sinner and come out a wet sinner.

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

3. Don’t let anybody tell you that you’re going to hell if you don’t go to church on Saturday–Colossians 2:16, Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.

If you have not trusted Christ, I hope that you won’t continue to reject His offer of life. You are in a dangerous position. John 3:36 says, “…he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” You will not make it into heaven on your own “good merits” or by your own conception of Who and What God should be like. He always has His way–the choice is yours to accept or reject.

Back To The Basics- Saving Faith Part 2

This post is due to the fact that many people who visit wordpress and then my blog do not seem to understand God’s great plan of salvation. They still want to believe the spurious doctrine of legalism. Legalism means earning salvation by good works …that’s absolutely wrong. Many cults preach legalism; that in order to have salvation you are REQUIRED to be baptized, Keep the Sabbath, tithe, partake of sacraments, join a specific Church, or confess sins to a priest. A prime example of a legalistic religion/cult is Ronald Weinland ‘s Church of God- PKG . However, salvation is a FREE GIFT which absolutely cannot be merited in any way (Romans 5:15; 11:6; Ephesians 2:8,9). I explain this spiritual fact in my first post Saving Faith . Here is the link if you wish to look at it again. The post is in very plain language. https://jasmine71.wordpress.com/2008/12/15/saving-faith/

That said , lets go back to the basics :

Jesus Christ is the Only Way to God the Father and Heaven

As stated above, there is no other name under Heaven by which man can be saved other than through the name of Jesus Christ! God the Father will not honor any other name, religion or faith!

Please note the extreme power and authority on the first four verses listed below. These first four verses specifically tell us, without any other possible interpretation, that Jesus Christ is the only way to be able to receive eternal salvation from God the Father.

  1. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
  2. “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all …” (1 Timothy 2:5)
  3. “There is one body and one Spirit

one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:4)

  4. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
  5. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and find pasture … I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:9)
  6. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” (John 11:25)
  7. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
  8. And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35)
  9. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” (John 6:51)
  10. “… whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:15-16)
  11. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:36)
  12. “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24)
  13. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” (John 5:24)
  14. “… And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11)
  15. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:14)

I do not see any other interpretation as to what these verses are trying to tell us other than Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father and His dwelling place, heaven! I don’t think God the Father could have made things any more clearer than by the way He has worded all of the above Scripture verses!

Jesus Himself said in the New Testament

that He did not come to bring peace – but division! What He means by this is that He is drawing a major battle line in the sand. You either believe in Him and everything that He stands for – or you do not. There are no middle or neutral grounds on this issue.

If you choose not to believe in Jesus and His message of eternal salvation through His death on the cross, then you will die in your sins and go straight to hell when you die – no if, ands or buts about it! The life that we are living down here on this earth is serious business! The choices that we make in this life will determine our ultimate fate in the afterlife.

Choose Jesus and the blood that He has personally shed for you on the cross – and you will become saved and born again – and you will then enter into the most incredible place imaginable when you die – heaven itself!

Choose anyone or anything else, and you will cross over into the most horrible place imaginable when you die – hell itself, and then eventually into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone after the Millennium has taken place, where the Bible says that the smoke of your torment will ascend forever and ever!

We Are Saved by Grace Through Faith – Not Works

The gift of eternal salvation is a free gift given by God to all those who will believe on Jesus and what His death on the cross really means for all of us. These next 3 verses will specifically tell us that good works will not get us into heaven.Works are needed after salvation. The Bible says that faith without works is dead – but that is after you have received God’s gift of eternal salvation. After you get saved, God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and this is where you will go to work for God into whatever your calling is going to be in Him.

But to initially receive the gift of eternal salvation from God the Father is simply done through faith and belief in accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Here are the verses:

  1. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8)
  2. “… knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ … for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.” (Galatians 2:16)
  3. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin … for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:20,23)

The Bible specifically tells us in that last verse that all men and all women have sinned and have fallen way short of the glory of our God. The Bible says that there are none that are righteous before the eyes of God the Father.

As a result, none of our fleshly works, no matter how good we think they may be, will ever be good enough to get us into heaven or back into the good graces of our Lord and Savior.

The Gift of Salvation Now Makes Us Righteous Before God the Father

Once you become saved and born again by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, the Bible says that we are now made perfectly righteous before the eyes of God. The righteousness of Jesus has now been imputed to us. This means that we are now free to approach the throne of God for intimate prayer and communication, and when we die, we will all go straight to heaven.

Even though we will continue to commit sin from time to time, God will always forgive us as long as we properly confess each sin when it does happen. We will never become totally sinless or perfect. No one will ever become the fourth person of the Holy Trinity. Only God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are totally perfect in Their actual natures and in all of Their ways. Humans and angels are not!

The Bible says that all men have sinned and will continue to sin, and thus will fall way short of the glory of our God. That is why Jesus had to come and die for all of our sins – which will include all of the past sins that we have ever committed, all of the present sins we are now committing, and all of the future sins that we will ever commit.

As a result of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins, God the Father now sees us as righteous and justified before His very eyes – now and for all of eternity, even though we are all still sinners! Talk about an incredible pardon!

Here are two very powerful verses showing us that we have now all been made perfectly righteous and perfectly justified before God the Father as a result of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins.

  1. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
  2. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Romans 5:8)

So not only do we get a full pardon and a full remission for all of our sins, but we now get to be made perfectly righteous before God the Father Himself. Righteousness and Redemption – what more could we ask for!

How to Become Saved and Receive the Gift of Eternal Salvation

The Bible makes it very clear as to how to receive the Gift of Eternal Salvation from God the Father:

  • Admit that we are sinners, be willing to confess our sins before God, and be willing to repent and turn from those sins.
  • Be willing to accept the fact that Jesus Christ came to our earth in the flesh to die on the cross for all of our sins, that He rose from the dead on the third day, and then be willing to formally accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

This acceptance of Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior must be confessed out loud before God the Father. It does not have to be done in a church. This can happen to anyone at anytime at any place. It can be done in the privacy of one’s own bedroom. Here are three specific verses showing all of the above points.

  1. “REPENT THEREFORE and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)
  2. “IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
  3. “… if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” (Romans 10:9)

Notice the last verse says to confess with your mouth, and with the mouth confession is made to receive salvation. This means just saying a good, basic salvation prayer out loud direct to God the Father from your heart.

Below is a good, basic salvation prayer to give to someone who wants to get saved by accepting Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Some people call this the “Sinners Prayer.” Others call it a basic salvation prayer. Either title will work.

Basic Salvation Prayer

Say the following prayer out loud, believe it from your heart and you will be saved.

Dear Father,

I now believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son, that He came to our earth in the flesh and died on the cross to take away all of my sins and the sins of this world. I believe that Jesus Christ then rose from the dead on the third day to give all of us eternal life.

Lord Jesus,

I now confess to You all of the wrong and sinful things I have ever done in my life. I ask that You please forgive Me and wash away all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on the cross. I am now ready to accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. I now ask that You come into my life and live with Me for all of eternity.

Father, Jesus – I now believe that I am truly saved and born again.

Thank you Father. Thank you Jesus. —————————————————————–

Bottom line – God’s free gift of eternal salvation can only be received by accepting His Son Jesus Christ and the blood that He has personally shed for each and everyone of us on that day He died on the cross.

There is no other way into the kingdom of God! We either come through the blood and the cross – or we don’t come through at all!

I rest my case for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Tests To Determine If Someone Is Of God

—————–Try The Spirits——————

by David J. Stewart

1st John 4:1,2…

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.”

The word “try” means “to test.” Hence, we are to TEST the spirits. What does the Bible mean by “spirit.” All human beings are spirits. The Devil is a spirit. The demons are spirits. The angels are spirits. God Himself is a Spirit (John 4:24). We are spirits in a physical world. There is a great spiritual battle taking place. Ephesians 6:12 states, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Thus, every book, every movie, every writing, is produced by a spirit, the human spirit. Ephesians 2:2 teaches that Satan has influence upon the unsaved spirit (person), “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.” So we see that there are different spirits at work. 1st John 4:13, “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.” A clear distinction should be made between “the spirit (Satan) that now worketh in the children of disobedience,” and the Holy Spirit of God.

1st John 4:2 is Only a Test Starting Point

It is important to understand that the test specified in 1st John 4:2 is only a starting point, not a conclusive test. We are told that “Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.” Obviously this cannot be a final test because many false religions believe that Jesus is the Christ, i.e., the Saviour. Every Catholic believes that Jesus is the Christ; BUT, they are all bound for Hell because they are trusting in their good works and the Church to save them. Ephesians 2:8,9 and Titus 3:5 plainly teach that good works CANNOT merit anyone salvation. Seventh-Day Adventists believe that Jesus is the Christ; BUT, they teach works salvation and that Christ’s work of redemption still isn’t completed. So it’s important to test the spirits with the ENTIRE Word of God, not just one simple test. God is simply providing us with a starting point in 1st John 4:1,2. One billion Muslims would fail this first test, because they don’t believe Jesus died on the cross. The Koran states that Jesus was kidnapped, and another crucified in His place. Muslims also teach that God has NO Son. 1st John 2:22 calls them LIARS and ANTI-Christs for denying that Jesus is the Christ.

There are Other Tests Required to Determine if Someone is of God or Satan

The tests we should give to a person’s faith, based upon the Word of God, to determine whether or not they are a legitimate Christian, is:

  1. Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven? (John 14:6)
  2. Do they believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ? (Isaiah 7:14)
  3. Do they believe that Jesus is God Almighty? (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-3,14; 10:33, 1st Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9; Revelation 1:8)
  4. Do they believe that Jesus is the Son of God? (John 3:16)
  5. Do they believe that Jesus died upon the cross? (John 19:23; Hebrews 12:2)
  6. Do they believe that Jesus was buried, and rose again physically after three days? (1st Corinthians 15:1-4)
  7. Do they believe that Jesus ascended bodily into Heaven after His resurrection? (Acts 1:9)
  8. Do they believe that it is Jesus’ blood which takes our sins away, and not just the death of Christ? (Colossians 1:14; 1st John 1:7; Revelation 7:14)
  9. Do they believe in the Godhead (Trinity): God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? (Romans 1:20; Matthew 28:19,20)
  10. Do they believe that Jesus is a member of the Godhead, equal in every capacity? (Colossians 2:9)
  11. Do they believe that Jesus is perfect, never having sinned even once? (2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15)
  12. Do they believe that Jesus existed in Preexistent form, before He came to the earth? (John 8:58; Revelation 1:8)
  13. Do they believe in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ upon the cross, Who died in our place? (1st Peter 2:21)
  14. Do they believe that Hell is a literal place that burns with fire, to punish all Christ-rejecters? (2nd Thessalonians 1:8; Revelation 20:8,11-15;)
  15. Do they believe in a literal Heaven, for the saved to go to? (John 14:1,2; 2nd Corinthians 5:8)
  16. Do they believe that Jesus Christ is the Creator of the universe? (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16)
  17. Do they believe that Jesus Christ always existed? (Revelation 1:8; John 5:58; Hebrews 7:3)
  18. Is Christ’s work of atonement completely finished? (Hebrews 9:26)

The answer to every question above should be a confident “YES!”

The answer to every question below should be a confident “NO!”

  1. Does a person have to be baptized to go to Heaven? (1st Corinthians 1:17; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:13)
  2. Do you have to do any good works to go to Heaven? (Romans 3:20; Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5)
  3. Do you have to join a church to go to Heaven? (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Psalm 118:8)
  4. Do you have to confess your sins to a priest or a minister to go to Heaven? (1st Timothy 2:5)
  5. Do you have to keep the sacraments to go to Heaven? (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:5)
  6. Do you have to endure or persevere to the end of life to be saved? (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Romans 5:15; Romans 6:23; Romans 4:5)
  7. Do you have to earn your way to Heaven? (Romans 3:20; Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5)
  8. Do you have to pray the Rosary to go to Heaven? (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Matthew 6:7)
  9. Do you have to recognize the Virgin Mary to be saved? (1st Timothy 2:5; Exodus 20:4,5)
  10. Do you have to be religious to go to Heaven? (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Mark 7:6-13)

There are other questions as well; but, these are the main questions. You’ll find that 98% of the people in this world DON’T pass the above tests. Please do not misunderstand this article. I’m not saying we should rudely interrogate people concerning their beliefs. What I am saying is that if someone’s belief’s don’t line up with the Word of God concerning salvation, then they’re not saved. No one who is trusting in their baptism to save them will go to Heaven. No one who believes that Christ’s blood is insignificant is saved. No one who denies the virgin birth, or Christ’s sinlessness is saved. These are all fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. There is MUCH deception today, many false Christs, and many liars. The only true way of knowing whether they are of God or not is to scrutinize their teachings with the Light of God’s Word. No one who prays the Rosary and trusts Mary will ever go to Heaven. No way! The Bible is clear that such repetitious prayers are sinful (Matthew 6:7). Bowing to any statue is a horrible sin (Exodus 20:4,5). If you’ll study the Word of God, instead of following men, then you CANNOT be deceived.

Many False Religions Teach the Basic Gospel

Many professed “Christian” organizations today, put forth a basic Gospel message to the public; BUT, they would fail the above tests. Many false religions are based upon the Gospel. It’s true. The Devil always starts with the truth when he wants to create a lie (Romans 1:25; 2nd Corinthians 11:14), then he perverts it. By adding and removing from the truth, it is corrupted. For Example: Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. However, they deny the deity of Christ, the Godhead, the Holy Spirit, and so many other fundamental Bible doctrines. They are a false religion, children of the Devil. Do you see why it is so important to preach the Gospel, while simultaneously EXPOSING Satan’s works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11)? Yes, we should preach the Gospel; BUT, many false religions also do that, so we need to give people additional information from the Bible. We need to teach people that good works cannot merit salvation, and that baptism is not required to be saved. We must tell them about the lies of Roman Catholicism, and the deadly deception of Seventh-Day Adventism. We must warn them about imposters like Oprah Winfrey, who denies Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven.

We should warn those who need to be warned. If I know that someone is following a certain false religion, like Catholicism, then I’ll make sure to warn them that the sacraments are evil. They need to know! Do you realize that every Catholic believes the basic Gospel? They believe that Jesus’ blood washes our sins away! BUT, they are also trusting the virgin Mary (Our Lady of Fatima), the Rosary, the Pope, the priestly confessional booth, the Church, the seven sacraments, and their good works to save them one day. They’re going to burn in the Lake of Fire if they don’t get saved. Salvation is found ONLY in Jesus Christ, by faith alone in Christ! If you add anything to your faith, then it is NO faith at all, and you will go to Hell. It is for this very reason that I expose so many CCM (contemporary Christian music) artists today. They all speak a vague message, barely even the basic Gospel; while the world plunges into the abyss of Hell. And they say they care about people? No they don’t! They’re more interested in making money.

It’s time for Christians to start proclaiming the Truth of God’s Word. The Gospel is being exploited by many false religions to deceive the ignorant and unlearned. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is His death, burial, and resurrection; BUT, the “good news” also teaches that salvation is a FREE GIFT which absolutely cannot be merited in any way (Romans 5:15; 11:6; Ephesians 2:8,9). So the good news of Christ is no good news at all when you REQUIRE people to get baptized, join a church, keep the Sabbath, make a commitment, walk a church isle, perform good works, confess sins to a priest, tithe, persevere to the end, or partake of sacraments. The good news (Gospel) is that you DON’T have to do anything to be saved, just place your faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour to forgive your sins. Jesus already did everything for us at Calvary, all we need to do is rest in His finished work of redemption. It’s as simple as this: We are sinners, and Jesus is the Saviour.

Again, If you’ll study the Word of God, instead of following men, then you CANNOT be deceived.

God Is A Trinity – Part 2

Jesus IS GOD . For proof click on the following link
https://jasmine71.wordpress.com/2009/03/14/jesus-christ-is-god-incarnate/

The following material is from Tracy at Jesus-Is-Lord.com

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word[John 1:1], and the Holy Ghost: and THESE THREE ARE ONE. I John 5:7

John 1:1 ,14 – The Word is clearly Jesus.  In verse 14 it says  “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” .

It is amazing how much error there is in this world. Yesterday I got an e-mail from a Pentecostal who asked if I was a “Trinitarian”. The question prompted me to write this article on the tri-unity (aka the trinity) of God (I prefer the Bible word “Godhead”). This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long while. A measure of fear came upon me as I sought to write this treatise because herein I am seeking to describe the very nature of the Most High, magnificent, dread LORD God. Nevertheless, upon careful Bible study, I can write…

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:19-20

I’ve heard people say that belief in the trinity means that we worship three gods. This simply reflects ignorance of the word of God. Any Christian willing to read their King James Bible with some clear eyeballs will see the truth. The LORD our God is one LORD (Deuteronomy 6:4) but He does exist in three Persons, a trinity.

If there were no other verse of the Bible testifying of the trinity, I John 5:7 would be enough for any Bible-believer to see that God consists of three Persons–the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost [1]. But this article was not written because of Bible believers. It was written to counteract the error of those who say that there is no Godhead consisting of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. A few groups come to my mind as I think of “anti-trinitarians”–

  1. Folks like the “Jesus Only” group say that only Jesus is God. They say that the Father and the Holy Ghost are only titles. Later in this treatise, we will show how each person of the Godhead (a Bible word) actually speaks in the scriptures. A “title” cannot speak. The Jesus Only people will only baptize in the name of Jesus directly contradicting Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19,

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

  2. A Pentecostal sect (I’m not talking about all Pentecostals) represented at the Isaiah 58 website denies the trinity saying that God created Jesus and then Jesus created everything else (close to JW theology). This is the error of Arianism, i.e., saying that Jesus is a created being. <!– See an excerpt of their writings here –>In one article on their website, The Influence of Trinitarian Doctrine on Translations of the Bible by John David Clark, Sr., there are number of blasphemies…the author says Jesus was sinless NOT because He was God but because He was obedient. Remember that Jesus was born as a baby–how many two year olds do you know that are willingly obedient 100% of the time? I have yet to meet a sinless person and I never will. Jesus was sinless from birth, no one else can accomplish that feat. He was not an ordinary man. He is God come in the flesh. The article also says that the Father can make anybody a god and that is what He did with Jesus (reminiscent of Mormon theology). The author further attempts to destroy the truth of the word of God by saying that Bible translators purposely mistranslated “the Greek” pronouns for the Persons of the Godhead.People who spread false doctrine can make it sound correct because they wrest with the scriptures to their own destruction. We’ve got to know our Bibles intimately. The Bible is the only standard of truth. The Isaiah 58 folks wrongly divide a lot of things including what they call “speaking in tongues”.
  3. Then you have the Jehovah’s (false) Witnesses. The JWs are infamous anti-trinitarians who deny that Jesus is God. This cult follows the teachings of heretick Charles Taze Russell.

all of these groups are dead wrong.

How can one God exist in three persons?

The Bible says that God made man in His image–but it also says that God is not a man. How then are we in His image? In many ways, one of which is we ourselves are tri-partite. Look at your own self. YOU exist in three distinct persons yet you remain one man.

  1. You have a body/flesh which is the part of you that others can see.
  2. You have a mind where you think your thoughts and make your plans.Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind
  3. You have a spirit where you feel and where your essence lies.I Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Your body, mind and spirit are separate and distinct. My hand is a part of me, but it is not my intellect, my mind. My thoughts are a part of me, but they are not my spirit. I’ll give an example. There have been times where I’ve seen my mind and my spirit in conflict. I’m hurt. My spirit is wounded. I’m crying and my mind says “Stop crying!” but I can’t because my spirit has been wounded. Sometimes our mind and our flesh are in conflict. We know something is wrong but we are so weak and powerless that we let the flesh have its way. Paul talks about how his mind and flesh were in conflict–

Romans …7:25 So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

You are undoubtedly tripartite (body, mind, spirit) yet you remain one entity. If you and I were in the same room and I looked at you, I would only see your flesh. I could not see what you were thinking or what you were feeling. I could not see who you really are.

We bear the image of God in that we are tripartite. One of the most direct scriptures testifying of the triunity of God is 1 John 5:7:

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and THESE THREE ARE ONE.

The Godhead and our salvation.

Let’s take a look at the Godhead (a Bible word) and what each Person did in our salvation (for those of us who are saved).

  1. God the Father sent the Son.John 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
  2. The Son was the propitiation (payment) for our sins.I John 4:10, Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
  3. The Holy Ghost reproves us, teaches us, guides us and testifies of Jesus Christ.John 14:26, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:“But Jesus is subject to the Father! How can He be God?”

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Jesus is no less God because He is subject to the Father. Even as a human being, my body is subject to my mind. A signal must go from my brain to my hand in order for me to move it. Does that mean that my hand is not a part of me because it has to do what my mind tells it to? Nay. It is still a part of me even though it is in subjection to my mind. <!– On a spiritual level, the scriptures say that we Christians must bring our flesh under subjection.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

    –>

    When I meditate…

When I meditate on the triunity of God I liken,

    • the Father to the mind (The plan originates and emanates from Him. He sent the Son and told Him what to speak. John 12:49, “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.”)
    • the Son to the body (Colossians 2:9, …in him dwelleth the fulness of the Godhead BODILY 2 Corinthians 4:6, “…the light of the knowledge of the glory of God IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST.”); and,
    • the Holy Ghost to the spirit (John 14:26, 15:26, “…the Holy Ghost…the Spirit of truth.”).

The breakdown. The scriptures call each Person of the Godhead, God. In fact, the word “Godhead” is a Bible word (Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20, Colossians 2:9).

    1. The Father is called God–Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    2. Jesus is called God (see this article for more)–And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he [God] saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. For in him [Jesus] dwelleth ALL the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9
    3. The Holy Ghost is called God–Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? …thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS manifest in the flesh, JUSTIFIED IN THE SPIRIT, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16

Each Person of the Godhead SPEAKS AUDIBLY in the Bible–

    1. God the Father SAID of Jesus in Matthew 3:17 …”This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
    2. Jesus SAID in John 10:30, ” I and my Father are one.”
    3. The Holy Ghost SAID in Acts 13:2, …”Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.”

Each Person of the Godhead was operative in the Old Testament–

    1. The Father–Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
    2. Jesus–1 Corinthians 10:1-4, 9 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: AND THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
    3. The Holy Ghost–Hebrews 3:7-11 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved ME, and saw MY WORKS forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

From the very first chapter in the Bible, God makes it known that He consists of more than one Person–

    Genesis 1:26-27, And God said, LET US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness…So God created man in his own image, in the image of God [not angels. the “us” can only refer to God.] created he him;

    How about Genesis 3:22?

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil…

When Isaiah had a vision of the Lord sitting upon a throne, the Lord asked him a question,

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for US? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

In the Old Testament, we find that God has a Son (Proverbs 30:4, Psalm 2:7-12) and a Spirit (Isaiah 40:13, 2 Samuel 23:2, Judges 3:10, etc.). We also find that the LORD said that the LORD would send Him to the earth (Zechariah 2:10,11).

    In closing…

The modern Bible perversions take out the word, “Godhead” and they attack the deity of Jesus Christ. One man told me that it was difficult for him to understand the deity of Jesus Christ while he read the NIV. Once he changed over to the King James Bible, it was abundantly clear. This is no surprise to me. Remarkably, the NIV oftentimes agrees with the Jehovah’s (false) Witness “Bible” in the verses it deletes. In fact, EVERY complete verse that the NIV deletes is deleted in the New World Translation (the JW version). It also deletes many of the same words and phrases including important portions of our theme verse in I John 5:7. I know this for a fact as I have copies of both contemptible books.

Dear reader, if you are still confused about this issue, you need to pick up your King James Bible and keep reading it and talking to Jesus until you get some satisfaction. There is only one truth and the Lord Jesus will not withhold it from anybody who wants to know it.

[1] Of course, many (if not most) modern Bible versions do not have this complete verse. In this, they agree with the Jehovah’s (false) Witness “Bible” called The New World Translation.
